Cairns Adventure Tours
Cairns Rainforest Tours consist of three different areas that surround Cairns.
North you have Cape Tribulation National Park, about 2.5 hour drive North From Cairns. To the West you have the small village of Kuranda, this can be accessed by The Kuranda Scenic Train and Skyrail Cableway.
To the South West, you have Wooranooran National Park and the Atherton Tablelands. Here you will find waterfalls, volcanic creator lakes and lush undulation mountains.
Cairns has an unofficial name, the local Government Council calls it the City in a Garden. There is a reason for this, Cairns is surrounded by World Heritage Listed National Parks all easily accessible on a Cairns Rainforest Tour.

Cairns Adventure Tours
Cairns really is the Adventure Capital of Australia, you won't find this many adventure tour companies all located in the same area as there is in Cairns. This page is dedicated to all the different Cairns Adventure Tours that are available, from Hot Air Ballooning, Skydiving, Bungy Jumping and White Water Rafting.
Many Cairns Adventure Tours will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel or backpacker hostel, so the bus transfer is included depending on which tour you choose.
Many people try to figure out the best thing to do and in general it all comes down to your budget. The very best Cairns Adventure Tours would have to be skydiving @ 14,000ft! This is one of the most famous places in all of Australia to try skydiving. View's out to The Great Barrier Reef, Cairns City and The Atherton tablelands skydiving is generally high on the list for Cairns Adventure Tours.
Second would be the Balloon and Barron Half Day Rafting Package, this enables you to get the maximum out of your day by enjoying a 30min Scenic Balloon Flight on sunrise and then spend the afternoon White Water Rafting on the Barron River.
The best time of the year to visit Cairns is generally the months of June / July / August / September / October / November, this is generally the best time due to amazing weather conditions of blue skies and sunshine, light sea breezes of around 15 to 20 knots.
But for activities like White Water Rafting the best time to arrive and enjoy this sort of activity is in December thru to May because we generally have a higher amount of rainfall that allows the rivers to expand and creates the very best White Water Rafting in Australia.
